Shard Detection
Large Discord bots split their gateway connection across multiple shards. Monitor allows you to track individual shard latency, connectivity, and guild distributions.
Supported Shard Statuses
healthy
Shard WebSocket is connected and communicating with Discord.
degraded
High latency, reconnect loop, or partial packet loss.
disconnected
Shard connection has dropped or failed to resume.

Informational Shard Safeguard
A single disconnected shard does NOT automatically mean the entire bot is offline. Shard telemetry is informational to help you debug partial outages.
If guild_count is omitted by your bot, Monitor will intentionally display no guild count rather than fabricating a false zero.
