Know the second a bot in your server goes down
Monitor watches the bots your server depends on and pings the right people the moment one drops offline — and again when it's back.
What Monitor does
Set it up once. It keeps watching after that.
Pick a bot to watch
Choose any bot in your server and Monitor starts tracking whether it's online in real time.
Route the alert
Send offline and back-online alerts to a channel you choose, with optional custom roles pinged.
See the downtime
When a bot returns, Monitor reports exactly how long it was offline for down to the minute.
Toggle it anytime
Turn monitoring on or off for a bot, or change its ping roles, without redoing the entire setup.
Check status on demand
Pull up current monitoring status and uptime history for any watched bot whenever you need it.
A DM to get you started
When Monitor joins, the server owner receives a friendly DM walking through quick setup.

What information Monitor collects
Monitor collects only what it needs to watch a bot and deliver alerts about it. It does not read message content, and it does not collect personal information about your server's members beyond what's listed below.
Discord server and user IDs used for configuration
Monitor stores the Discord server ID (guild ID) for each server it's added to, the user ID of the person who ran setup, and the IDs of any roles chosen to receive pings. These IDs are Discord's own identifiers and don't reveal anything beyond what Discord itself shows.
Monitoring configuration data
- The ID of the bot being watched, and its current online/offline status
- Whether monitoring is currently enabled or disabled for that bot
- Timestamps of status changes, used to calculate how long a bot was offline
Notification and ping role settings
The notification channel ID chosen for alerts, and the IDs of any roles set to be pinged when a watched bot goes offline or comes back online.
How data is stored
Configuration data is stored in a secured database that only Monitor's backend can access. It's used solely to run the monitoring and notification features described on this site.
How long data is retained
Data for a server is retained for as long as Monitor remains in that server and monitoring is configured. If Monitor is removed from a server, its configuration data for that server is deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for the reasons described under Data Deletion.
Who can access the data
Only Monitor's developer and any trusted maintainers with direct access to the bot's infrastructure can access stored data, and only for the purpose of operating, debugging, or securing the service.
Third-party services
Monitor operates on top of the Discord API to send messages, check bot status, and manage roles. Discord's own privacy practices apply to any data that passes through Discord itself. Monitor does not sell data to, or share it with, third parties for advertising or marketing.
User data deletion requests
Server owners can request deletion of their server's Monitor data at any time. See the Data Deletion page for how to make a request and what's covered.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored data from unauthorized access, including restricted database access and access limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, and Monitor cannot guarantee absolute protection against every possible breach.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Monitor's features change. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continuing to use Monitor after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact information
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through the support server, or see the Contact / Legal page.
Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
Acceptable use
Monitor is provided for monitoring the online status of bots in your Discord server. You agree not to use it to harass, spam, deceive, or interfere with other users, servers, or Discord itself.
Using Monitor on Discord servers
By inviting Monitor to a server, you confirm you have the authority to add bots to that server, typically as its owner or an administrator. Monitor's features are configured through its slash commands and are only available to members with the appropriate server permissions.
User responsibilities
You're responsible for how monitoring and pings are configured in your server, including who is granted access to run setup commands and which roles are chosen to receive alerts.
Bot availability and disclaimer
Monitor is provided "as is," without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Status checks and alerts are delivered on a best-effort basis, and network or Discord API issues can occasionally delay a notification. Monitor is not liable for missed or delayed alerts.
Abuse prevention
Attempts to overload, exploit, or interfere with Monitor's monitoring systems, or to use them for purposes outside their intended function, are not permitted and may result in restricted access.
Service changes
Features may be added, changed, or removed as Monitor develops. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep this site's description of Monitor's features up to date.
Suspension and termination
Access to Monitor may be suspended or terminated for a server or user that violates these terms, misuses the bot, or poses a risk to the service or its other users.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monitor and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the bot — including damages resulting from a monitored bot's downtime not being reported in time.
Intellectual property
Monitor's name, branding, and underlying code are the property of its developer. Server owners are granted a limited right to use Monitor within their Discord server as intended; no other rights are transferred.
Terms updates
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Monitor after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Contact information
Questions about these terms can be sent through the support server, or see the Contact / Legal page.

Does this website use cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. All of Monitor's actual functionality — setup, monitoring, and alerts — happens inside Discord itself, not on this site.
Essential cookies
If this site ever uses strictly necessary cookies (for example, to remember a display preference), they are limited to what's needed for the site to function and aren't used to identify or track you.
Analytics or optional cookies
If analytics are added in the future to understand how this site is used, this page will be updated to name the tool used and what it collects before it's enabled.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so won't affect Monitor's functionality inside Discord.
Data Deletion
Last updated: September 2026
How to request deletion
A server owner can request deletion of their server's Monitor configuration by removing Monitor from the server, or by reaching out through the support server with the server ID and a deletion request. Requests are typically completed within a reasonable timeframe after they're verified.
What gets deleted
- Monitoring setup for the server, including which bots were being watched
- Notification channel and ping role settings
- Stored status history and downtime records tied to that server
What may be retained
Some limited data may be kept for a short additional period where needed to prevent abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with a legal obligation. This is kept only as long as necessary for that purpose and isn't used for anything else.
